Youth Services

To create a safe Chicago where all our children have the opportunity to learn, develop their talents, and thrive, we must significantly increase the resources in our schools and make them the center of our communities. This is why the Brighton Park Neighborhood Council partners with neighborhood schools to offer education and support services to students and their families. We also advocate for education equity, as well as parent and student involvement in decision-making processes.

Our community school partnerships aim to transform our schools into true centers of community life.

BPNC has established full-service community school partnerships with eight neighborhood public schools in the Brighton Park community. Our programs are designed to improve educational outcomes for at-risk students through academic support, social-emotional support, violence prevention programs, enrichment programs, and mental health services.

Partnered Community Schools

Through our Full Service Community School Initiative (FSCSI), we have brought more than $1.5 million into schools. Last year, we served over 1,100 students.
