The award recognizes UnidosUS affiliate organizations with exceptional work to close gaps in care and improve the health and well-being of Latinos through implementing culturally and linguistically appropriate community-based programs and services (2016).

Bank of America - Neighborhood Builders award
Bank of America’s prestigious and highly competitive Neighborhood Builders award. Every year, high-performing nonprofit organizations demonstrating excellence and impact in the areas of community development, workforce development, and education are selected.  BPNC’s Executive Director, Patrick Brosnan, was recognized as a Neighborhood Builder, and Paulo Magdaleno, Development Manager, was awarded the Emerging Leadership award for BPNC’s collaboration and work implementing Community Schools in CPS (2014).
United Way Metropolitan Chicago Partner of the Year
The United Way Metropolitan Chicago Partner of the Year for our development of the Brighton Park Neighborhood Network (2013).
Community Schools Leadership Award
The Community Schools Leadership Award, sponsored by the Illinois Federation for Community Schools, honored Patrick Brosnan, BPNC’s Executive Director, and Flor Esquivel-Benitez, Thomas Kelly High School’s Resource Coordinator (2013).

The Federation for Community Schools' Dimon Distinguished Awards for excellent work in the development and implementation of full-service community school partnerships with Thomas Kelly High School (2010) and John C. Burroughs Elementary (2009).
