Success and Stability

With support from the Siemer Institute and the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, BPNC has implemented the Success and Stability program to address the increasing needs of homeless, near-homeless, and economically insecure families in Brighton Park.

The Success and Stability program provides comprehensive case management services and financial coaching to help families (at risk of homelessness) find stable housing, increase financial stability, and reduce student mobility.

BPNC has provided comprehensive case management to over 600 families (100 families/ year) since 2014. As a result of participation in the program, 89% of families increased their income, 99% obtained stable housing, and 78% were able to avoid a disruptive move during the school year.
