#WorldTeenMentalWellnessDay: Hollister Co

On March 2nd, BPNC is recognizing and celebrating #WorldTeenMentalWellnessDay. Founded by @hollisterco in 2020, March 2nd is an annual reminder that it’s ok to prioritize yourself. It’s a conversation starter meant to encourage dialogue to disrupt and challenge stigmas surrounding mental health.

We are also thrilled to announce that BPNC was once again awarded a grant from The Hollister Confidence Project to continue our work in building a safer community for Brighton Park students. Funding will go towards establishing Gender and Sexualities Alliance (GSA) groups at our partner schools, where students will have a dedicated space away from discrimination, harassment, and violence based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. These GSA groups will actively empower students through trainings in leadership, organizing, and advocacy for racial and gender justice.

We are so grateful to @Hollister Co. for their investment in youth mental health and wellness in the Brighton Park community. #HCoPartner #teenworldmentalwellnessday
