The State of Illinois has the 5th largest economy in the country yet working families are struggling while ⅓ of corporations don’t pay any taxes. BPNC works with the Grassroots Collaborative to form a statewide coalition to fight for progressive revenue solutions to the state’s budget crisis. We are demanding that Illinois stop placing the burden of our economy on working people and find progressive streams of revenue for the state, its agencies and programs.
