BPNC’s after school programs at each community school support all students, with an emphasis on sustaining participation of at-risk students.

The programs provide academic support services, focused on remediation and skill-building in literacy and math through mentoring, homework help, and school-based counseling and case management.

​

Additionally each school’s programs offer enrichment activities based on student interest and school needs. Offerings include mixed martial arts, art and crafts, dance classes, music classes, competitive sports teams, and computer classes.

 

At some schools, BPNC also implements special science enrichment curriculum, such as CHISPA and Scientists for Tomorrow.
