Dream Act Club
The Dream Act Club is a group formed by students from Kelly High School which mission is to: Pass immigration reform, to inform the community about current immigration issues and to fundraise for scholarships. The Dream Act Club was founded in 2005 by students who saw the need for more resources for undocumented students in their school.
Each year Dream Act organizes multiple workshops about different immigration issues to make sure that community members are well informed about what is happening with immigration laws and other issues that might affect them. The most recent topics that Dream Act Club has presented workshops and organized around are: DACA, Citizenship, Welcoming Cities Ordinance and Temporary Visitors Driver’s License (TVDL).
