CPS Students Wrote Letters to Mayor Emanuel and Public Officials

Below are two letters out of 300 written by CPS students in Davis Elementary and other community schools on Chicago's Southwest side. CPS students fear the spike in violence in their communities. Students are tired of the lack of resources in their schools. Valerie and Francisco delivered over 300 students letters to the Mayor Emanuel senior staff member.

Unused Tax Rebate Money Should Be Used To Fight Crime, Aldermen Say
